The room seemed to grow smaller as we sat waiting. The Master had called me here so Silence naturally followed. I knew better than to think this was a good thing to be called by the Master, but I also knew better than to get myself in trouble. Slowly I found my eyes growing heavy and I rested my chin in my hand. My elbow was resting on my knee as I sat on the floor and the entire position was gaining comfort as my eyelids closed. I felt myself beginning to doze when I heard heavy footsteps echoing through the tunnel. The strange thing wasn’t the footsteps but the number of them.
