The Stuff the Year Brings

There are things in life that no one can explain. Things that happen and they either help or hurt you. Nothing ever stays the same. Days end, happiness gives way to another emotion, friends leave, and people die. This isn't something that is new to the world. It is how it was meant to be. If everything stayed the same, nothing would be worth fighting for. This year has been full of changes. First off... the weather hear in Utah has been insanely weird. No snow until the second week of January, which, usually, we have a some odd 5 feet by November!! Not many people realize how badly that messed with my internal seasonal shift thingy. (It's like an internal clock but with the seasons.) I was all out of wack for about a month. The New Year brought with it many things, along with the snow. A new baby for my neighbors, a funeral or four for the family, new friends, graduation, the loss of some friends... and some insane discoveries! I learned that writing screenplays is WAY bette...

What a Great Start!!

This is the first post on this blog in the year of 2012!!!!!!! How exciting!! So, as a great start to the new year here is a lovely(or super crappy, depending on how you look at it) story.  It involves 3 girls who later meet up with another girl and one guy.  Their names are Jain, Doe (hahahahaha like the person Jane Doe!!! hahahaha), and Lynne.  Jain and Doe decided that for the last day before school officially started again in the new year that they were going to do something crazy, they just didn't know what.  It was something that they wanted to do but didn't quite have it planned yet.  Then something extraordinary happened.  They got a plan!! Lynne recently moved to a new school where she doesn't see any of her friends and she has to wear stupid uniforms.  She was so sad lately that Jain and Doe needed to cheer her up. So they kidnapped her.  Kinda.  In a way.  They all decided to meet at the local grocery store, Wally World(No t...

Make it Worth it

As the year 2011 draws to a close we are then told to make a "New Year's Resolution".  Everyone makes one of these and sooner or later the said resolution fails or just becomes forgotten.  The one that everyone eventually makes in their lives to go to the gym and work out at least three times a week.  Go on a diet.  Make more money.  Get a better job.  Be a more loving person. Stop smoking. Learn how to ski.  Become fluent in Romanian(or some other random language). All of these things meant something to someone at one point. If they didn't they wouldn't have made it onto the yearly Bucket List.  What is it that you want to change about yourself?  Everyone has that one thing they want to do better in. For some it's their looks, others their knowledge, others their health.  Whatever it may be it has some importance in the life of the resolver.  It isn't just a resolution.  It is a dream. With the changing of the la...

Never in a Million

The thought never occurred to me as odd, it was simply the right thing to do. Ironic as it may be that I, Daniel Jameson Mackamay, would consent to this. I must have been out of my mind. She would never dream of going on a date with me. She was her, and I was... well me. She had him and would never leave him... perhaps I could just get her to go along with one simple night out. We had been friends for a while but maybe friends wasn't enough anymore. I know that I wanted more than for her to call me her 'friend'. She was amazing. She was everything a guy could ask for. She was her....She was Kat.  *                            *                            *                           *                         ...

So I lied.. oops.......

Alright, I had everything ready to go up, but then school kind of bombarded me with all sorts of stuff!!! My characters may have been off strike but my teachers certainly weren't!!! I am so sorry for not having things posted like I said I would. I'm working on it today so there should be more up soon..... I won't tell an actual day because that always comes back to bite me on the nose. I should have more posted on Malcolm and Elias and also Charlie Vega is going to make an appearance soon ;) that will be fun!!!! Please forgive me for my little lie. I'm terribly sorry.

The Unwanted Chapter One: Chains

Cool metal touched my hand, wrapped around my wrist.  my hair stood on end, goosebumps rose up and down my arms.  Through the darkness the faint outline of the metal door was barely visible.  Though my eyes were adjusted to the darkness I couldn't see a thing.   The others were all asleep, I should be too.  With that realization my grip on the cold metal chain tightened. I pulled it slowly across my bed, catching the links before they hit the floor. Moving slowly I gently set the chain on the floor and stepped toward the doorway.  The darkness was thick with silence that made it hard to breath.  The door was right there, almost in reach, only a few more steps.  My hand reached out, seeking the smooth surface of the door.  Just as I was almost there, a voice reached my ears.      "--open the door."  a gruff voice murmured. I was trapped.  I couldn't move, I couldn't hide. I was as good as dead.  My feet...
